Thanks for your interest in our wines! Notes below for each, and 3-pack ordering available at the bottom of the page.
A mineral-laden and layered fruit nose with plenty of stone and orchard fruits gives way to a lactic fullness on the palate that belies the low ABV of this cool-climate wine. Chardonnay can be straightforward, we know, but sometimes coloring within the lines using some non-standard colors can still make for an interesting final product. We give this wine 48-hours of whole-cluster maceration before pressing in order to pull a little more out of the young-vine fruit. If you get the suggested pairing below, you'll get this wine for sure. %10.7 ABV.
Suggested pairing: The Velvet Underground - Loaded (1970)
Our 2017 skin-contact traminette had a week of whole-cluster maceration before pressing, and the result is all lychee and flowers on the nose, with a structured finish reminiscent of the wines of some of our favorite Italo-Slovenian classicists. We think this one will stand the test of time, but it's great to drink right away as well. 10.7% ABV.
Suggested pairing: Sensations' Fix - Music is Painting in the Air (1974-77)
Our first Cab Franc from local Hudson Valley fruit, and we couldn't be happier. 30% whole cluster for the 5-week maceration gives this one a little more structure and spice than our 2016 from the Finger Lakes, with just a touch of green and some dusty granite backing up the black cherry and tart raspberry fruit. 11.9% ABV.
Suggested pairing: The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street (1972)
